Welcome Lauren Kloppers!

Welcoming our newest Physiotherapist Lauren! Here is a little insight into her journey.

Hello! ???? My name is Lauren, I was born and raised in Cape Town South Africa where I’ve completed my BSc Physiotherapy degree in 2015 at the University of Western Cape. I started my physiotherapy career in 2016 working in a local community clinic in Johannesburg (what we call community service year in South Africa), I then decided to move back to my home city Cape Town where I had the privilege of working at a private based hospital practice for three years. This has given me great exposure to working with patients with various medical conditions within the hospital setting including ICU and general wards as well as out-patients in the practice.

I then decided it’s time to spread my wings away from my home country and share my current skills and experience abroad in beautiful Australia. I started off working in a local rural town in Central Queensland and then got this exciting opportunity to be part of the Vector Health Team. I enjoy treating various injuries from musculoskeletal, orthopedics, sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation and I also have a special interest in Women’s Health. In my spare time, I enjoy training at the gym, doing adventurous walks, and spending time with family and friends.

I’m excited to start this new venture and to help make a positive change in your physical rehabilitation journey. I’m looking forward to meeting all of you!
