About me

I am a Brisbane boy born and raised, where I started my own exercise journey and developed my passion for health, the human body, and physical activity. I have always been active since a young boy where I started playing all sports under the sun. From cricket to tennis, AFL and league to touch, I developed a wide range of physical attributes which built the foundation for my enjoyment towards keeping active and healthy. I found myself paying most of my attention to Biology and PE along with my respective sports in high school which lead to my decision to study Exercise Physiology at Queensland University of Technology. Like most people, I didn’t know exactly what an Exercise Physiologist does, but it combined what I enjoy doing and like learning about, and luckily for me it turned out be something I love doing. Now as an Exercise Physiologist, I use exercise and lifestyle modification to help people achieve their specific goals, improve their quality of life, health, fitness, and function.

I have experience in working specifically in Cardiovascular & Pulmonary Rehabilitation, along with Diabetes programs through Queensland Health during my mix of university placements in both Brisbane and Rockhampton. A COVID-19 effected placement unexpectedly brought me to Vector Health where I was warmly welcomed, easily fitted in, and really enjoyed being. A place that I soon called my work upon finishing my degree end of 2021. I now call Rockhampton my home and have loved the last 2 years working here apart of the VHP team. I currently work with a wide range of clientele possessing Cardio-respiratory conditions, Musculoskeletal injuries, Autoimmune diseases, Diabetes, Mental health concerns, adults and children under NDIS, and Geriatric health. I do however hold a special interest in Cardiovascular and Respiratory presentations as I love all things heart and lungs.

When I am not at work, I like to spend my time being with my partner and fur babies, keeping active myself through a variety of sports and activities, and exploring the world… something I aspire to do much more of in the years to come.
