Rowing is a great form of conditioning that is lower impact than running. Demonstrated here by a few of our netball athletes at Vector Health

Vector Health Fundraiser – QLD Drought Appeal

Our amazing team here at Vector Health and Performance along with valued customers, supporters and associated businesses came together on Wednesday 19th September to raise much needed funds for our farmers in need and for The QLD Drought Appeal.

It was truly amazing to see so many people get on board and help make a difference whilst having some fun! We were fortunate to have Odell Manuel take part and showcase his deadlifting skills whilst in his final stages of training preparation for one of the biggest powerlifting competitions in History! Odell is an amazing athlete and an amazing man. Apparently he is also quite good on a rowing machine completing a smashing time of 1min 22.4 seconds.

Michael Ingram the inspirational grazier told his story during the event and provided an in-depth feeling to his life changing experience after a brain injury, still working with his land and cattle and working with our team here at Vector Health. We are fortunate to experience just how great Michaels dedication to living life to the fullest is!

ASN came along and provided samples and information on some of the awesome products they have on offer, and we highly recommend visiting their store for your supplement needs!

Parkhurst Quality Meats provided steak and sausages for our BBQ and also came along to cook it for us! We greatly appreciated their contribution and support and if you’re chasing good quality meat give their shop a visit!

Special thanks needs to be mentioned to the following business that all got involved and donated prizes and made donations towards the cause. A Mans Toyshop, Odowds Hotel, Pro Dyno, Moore Eyes, Southern Cross Austereo, Capricorn Sandstone, Restart, Diabetes on Track, Eryn Mooney (Sponsored Claws rowing team) and all other attendees.
