How we go about this therapy here at Vector?
At Vector Health, Musculoskeletal Therapy fits in really well to compliment the treatments provided by the Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists and coaches by releasing tight soft tissues and increasing neural awareness of the area treated.
Why do I use Musculoskeletal Therapy with my clients?
A variety to techniques are utilised in a typical treatment such as Massage, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Joint Mobilisation, Dry Needling and Cupping. Different combinations of these techniques will suit different people, so no two treatments will be exactly the same.
How a Musculoskeletal Therapist can help you?
Musculoskeletal Therapy aims to improve your quality of life by reducing pain, increasing function and ability to complete tasks whether that is work, sport or daily living. This is also perfect for pregnant women who are feeling the pains of pregnancy. Reducing the need to consume pain relief medication is one of the biggest goals I have when working with someone.
