New Graduate Program for Allied Health at Vector Health & Performance

Join Team VHAP.

Our Mission “No matter how we grow, we will transform self-belief and physical capacity with unrivaled care.”

Who is Vector Health & Performance (VHAP)?
Vector Health was founded in 2010 by Glenn Hansen to improve the delivery of health, fitness, and sports performance services to people of Central Queensland. We have since grown to include the best system of physiotherapy led physical performance coaching and consultancy in Queensland.

We are good at individualising care, applying the science and making it understandable to the people we work with. We are driven and passionate about helping each person experience amazing care and results in that order. Our team is diverse and we encourage and empower independent and critical thinking skills in our people.

“We employ people, not professionals. We turn people into professionals and professionals into mastery.”

VHAP New Graduate Program

Our new graduate program is driven upon three key principles:

  1. Support
  2. Accountability
  3. Learning

Support

Finishing your degree is something you should be really proud of. It means you have demonstrated your ability to start and finish something significant and something that was of your choice to do. Starting work is almost like starting all over again in terms of the learning and relationship formation so it can be a big adjustment. Our first role and our most important role is to provide support and care to you as a person and help you fit into our team and fit into your role so you enjoy what you do every day.

Vector Health is a place where we want you to love what you do. One of our core leadership drivers is to put people in a position to do what they do best every day and to try as hard as possible to make you feel like your opinions count.

Feedback

We provide regular, ongoing feedback on performance. We are not “formal” with this and feedback happens regularly to start with and as you demonstrate more confidence and competence the feedback still stays regular, however, the frequency decreases in line with each individual employee. This is how we do it with clients so it is right to expect that we individualise YOUR experience as an employee with Vector Health.

Learning

We consider the first 3 months of your employment as extremely critical to your short and long-term development as a professional in your field. We have a plan or guideline for how we manage caseloads when you start. We individualise each caseload direction based upon the guidelines. We recognise that different people have different learning and integration speeds.

Our program is based upon spending time with experienced clinicians, with our principal Physiotherapist having more than 15 years of clinical experience and our Director of Coaching having more than 20 years of coaching experience.

Questions are the vehicle to gather information. Thinking is the vehicle to solving problems.

Who are we looking for?

We look for people who have passion and care for helping people. Someone who wants to learn how to deliver consistency in results and have the capacity to learn and adapt quickly.

Above all, people who want to live our values like they are your own and someone who wants to be a part of a motivated, care-centered and result focussed team environment.

What is our vision?

We are on our way to being the most trusted brand in Queensland for a caring and supportive journey in physical and psychological health.

We want people to be part of this journey, delivering unrivalled care to the people who trust us. Our journey as a business and team will be one of growth over the next 2-10 years so we are looking for people who are seeking a career path as well as being a great clinician.

Are you ready to come on that journey with us?
